Dear Welty Middle School Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! On behalf of our entire team at Welty Middle School, I am excited to extend a warm welcome to our returning families and a special greeting to those who are joining us for the first time.

We are proud to serve over 700 students in grades 6 through 8 with the support of our dedicated and passionate team of 65 staff members. Together, we strive to create a learning environment that is safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous—where every student is seen, supported, and inspired to succeed.

At New Philadelphia City Schools, we believe that every student has the ability to be successful, and it is our mission to help each child discover their strengths, explore their interests, and reach their fullest potential. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or through extracurricular activities, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals who are prepared for high school and beyond.

We are also fortunate to have strong ties to our local community, and we value the partnership we share with parents, guardians, and community members. Together, we create a foundation of support that helps our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we begin this school year, we encourage open communication and invite you to stay connected through our school website, newsletters, and upcoming events. There will be many opportunities to get involved, and we welcome your voice and presence in our school community.
