6th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in an outdoor education program at Camp Muskingum. Outdoor education offers hands-on, motivational learning experiences that cannot easily take place in the classroom. Students who participate in Nature’s Classroom will learn to better understand themselves, each other and their natural surroundings. This experience gives the students the chance to be successful, responsible and an important part of the group. A variety of field activities and classes in various subject areas is an exciting experience for all students. In addition to our school nurse, chaperones and classroom teachers, Nature’s Classroom at Camp Muskingum has a permanent staff residing on-site who will lead the programs.
Camp for the 2025-2026 school year is on September 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. Students will only be going one of those days, and will be $110 for the day, including lunch and dinner.
More information will be given to the students on the first week of school to be brought home. All beginning-of-the-year medical forms on Final Forms, and other required forms given out the first week of school, as well as payment will need to be completed and/or returned back to your child's homeroom teacher by Thursday, August 28, 2025. Payment can be made via cash, check, or through your student’s fees.
